How hot is too hot for the human body?

In sunny Singapore, complaints about how hot the weather is and how sweaty we are are all to familiar. So far, the hottest temperature recorded this year was 36.2ºC in May. For reference, the highest-ever daily maximum temperature recorded was 37ºC in Tengah on April 17, 1983.

So how hot is too hot for us to handle? (hint: the problem isn't all temperature!)
