We are very happy and fortunate to get Mr William Tan as our second daughter's Math tutor this year. We only started to engage Mr William after our daughter failed her mid-year assessment. Mr William is engaging and is able to focus on our daughter's weaknesses in certain concepts like algebra and get her to grasp the concepts confidently with ample practice. Besides this, he is also able to guide her to do her own time assessments, working out the solutions within the time frame as our daughter tends to leave a number of questions unanswered, with the limited time.
We are very surprised by her amazing progress in the current EOY assessment of scoring 81 % for her Math. Within a few months, she built up her confidence in Math under Mr William's excellent guidance.

Mr William is the greatest Math teacher that I have ever known. His excellent experience in teaching students, like my daughter, seeing Math as a big challenge to being able to complete all homework easily. His teaching style is very easy to understand, and his patience in giving explanations to student. My son started his Maths and Science classes with William when he was in early P5/P6 respectively.
It was exasperating to teach him Math Model questions without using algebra. Under William’s tutelage, my son was taught a technique to solve such questions. He gradually acquired the technique after weeks of intensive practice with William. William played a big role in my son’s AL1 achievement in this latest PSLE Maths exam.
Additionally, we engaged William to coach my son on the answering techniques for Science. William was very patient in revising and reiterating the concepts and techniques with my son. From his usual AL3 – 5, my son aced his PSLE Science paper with an AL1!
It helped that William was accommodating towards our schedule and acceded to our request for additional classes nearing to the exams. He was attentive to my son’s weaker topics and would readily show him the workings, even outside the class hours.
